Our Approach

We teach Empowerment Self-Defense (ESD) — a research-backed method built on five principles: Think, Yell, Run, Fight, Tell. Our sessions go beyond physical techniques to include awareness, communication, boundary-setting, and decision-making under pressure.

We integrate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu–based techniques chosen for their practical application in real-world situations. These skills use leverage and control—not strength or aggression—making them ideal for de-escalation and protecting yourself or others with care and respect.

  • Yes! Sessions are tailored to your availability, whether it’s weekends, evenings, or even during a lunch break. We come to you!

    Typical bookings are 60–90 minute formats ideal for: Lunch & Learns, safety training, after-work wellness sessions, team building opportunities, retreats or professional development days and conferences.

  • We offer in-person sessions usually at your workplace. We can also coordinate a private studio for additional fees or virtual training for added convenience.

  • No prior experience is required. Our training sessions are fully customized to all skill levels, fitness, and individual goals

  • We prioritize your confidentiality at every step. Sessions are conducted in private locations, schedules are discreetly managed, and all interactions and client information are handled with the utmost confidentiality. A limited service agreement is also signed, outlining expectations.

  • Because our Empowerment Self-Defense programs are highly tailored to each client’s unique needs, pricing varies based on factors such as session length, group size, and specific goals.
